New images and specs have turned up about the BlackBerry Javelin, the rumoured successor to the BlackBerry Curve handset.
The new Javelin, which is likely to be released in 2009, will sport a 512 MHz Processor, 256 MB onboard flash memory, Hot-swappable microSD slot, a 480 by 360 high-res HVGA+ display, 3.2MP camera and Micro rather than Mini USB charging/syncing port.
Reports also suggest that the handset will come with GPS and Wi-Fi like some variants of the Curve, although strangely no 3G connectivity.
Judging by the images the new design will fit in with the yet to be released, but announced BlackBerry Bold with a black design and sporting the same new user interface.
The phone is expected to be released in 2009.
We will keep you posted.
