Nokia N85 turns up at the FCC

Two variants, but little detail

8 August 2008 14:33 GMT / By Stuart Miles

The plot thickens, as they would say as the unannounced Nokia N85 we told you about back in June has turned up on the FCC for approval in the US.

According to the FCC submissions there will be two handsets available; one that supports 3G, and a second that doesn't.

No specifications have been confirmed beyond the 3G in this filing, although based on previous images that we've seen reporting to be the mobile phone handset it will feature a 5 megapixel camera and be a slider rather than candybar design.

Nokia UK had no further information on the FCC filing although promised to keep us in the loop as soon as any information came to light.

We will keep you posted.
