Looking for a lamp or chair with a bit of character?

Site Specific Design (SSD) is an interior and furniture design company based in Brooklyn, New York that might just be able to offer you just that.

There latest 2008 lamps and furniture look like half device half insect with a bit of Matrix sentinel thrown in for good measure.

We like the Mini Formiga lamp which will set you back $1600 and the Mimic chair, although the later has a "Price on Request" button suggesting its going to be expensive.

But then you know what they say. If you have to ask, you can't afford it.
