Casio has launched a range of new compact cameras on Wednesday that promise to make sure you look beautiful every time your caught on camera.

The new range will consist of four new models with the 10-megapixel touting EX-Z300 topping the pile in terms of features and offering.

The new model will sport a "Make-up" mode that will work in a similar way to the cloning tool on Photoshop bluring out and smoothing over blemishes in-camera as you take the image.

"We believe we can differentiate our range in the compact market by offering unique features like this", a spokesman for the company told Pocket-lint.

However Casio appears to be late to the game; Samsung has already launched a compact camera with a similar technology called Picture Perfect that works in a similar way and air-brushes images.

Beyond the "Make-up" mode, which can be turned off, the EXILIM Zoom EX-Z300 boasts 10.1-megapixels, a 3-inch LCD display and comes in three colours; black, silver and gold.

The other models in the range will be the EXILIM Card EX-Z19, a 9.3-megapixel model, the EXILIM Zoom EX-Z85, a small 9.1-megapixel digital camera, and the EXILIM Zoom EX-Z250, a 9.1-megapixel digital camera with similar features to the Z300.

All new EXILIM models have a video option, which lets users record H.264 movies at the touch of a button.

The new models will be available in September and prices will be £179.99 for the EX-Z100, £229.99 for the EX-Z300, £199.99 for the EX-Z250, £149.99 for the EX-Z85, and £129.99 for the EX-Z19.
