Stylish keyboard gets Apple-happy

Logitech has announced the diNovo Edge - Mac edition. The newest diNovo keyboard for Apple fans keeps the skinny dimensions at 11.05mm and offers a high-gloss, semi-translucent Plexiglas frame, sharp angles and orange backlighting.

Logitech says the aluminium palm rest with an anodized-silver finish looks particularly good with any Mac computer, "including the iMac and the MacBook Pro."

The wireless, Bluetooth Mac edition model features optimised Mac keys for one-touch access to Mail, Safari and iTunes, as well as other Mac-specific applications.

The new device also offers a Power button that turns your Mac computer on and off, while the TouchDisc allows you to scroll and navigate from your keyboard by moving your finger up, down or across.

The included charging base juices the keyboard up for a four-hour with the claim that a 10-minute power charge provides one day of use.

The Logitech diNovo Edge, Mac Edition cordless keyboard is expected to be available in the US this month for $159.99, UK pricing and availability not yet revealed.

UPDATE: UK pricing and availability has been confirmed for the start of November for a suggested retail price of £69.99.
