It's a Monday morning, so we thought you might need cheering up.

Here are some pics of the new Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport - the fastest production car in the world - which will soon be available in convertible form.

This motoring megalith is due to be unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concourse d'Elegance on 16 August in Pebble Beach, California.

And it is expected to leave the factory in spring 2009.
