Sharp has now launched the AN-PR1500H home cinema rack system.

The biggest claim for the new launch is that it is the only model on the market to come fitted with an integrated, upscaling DVD/CD player.

The all-in-one home cinema system also comes equipped with HD enabling technology including an HDMI output and a DivX compatible function.

You also get a USB port so owners can display photographs or JPEGs, compatibility with MP3 and WMA files so that the user can link up their iPod and an FM stereo digital tuner.

And, says Sharp, it packs in "an outstanding auditory punch" with its 300W output power, digital amplifier and 2.1 front surround speakers.

The manufacturer adds that it needs no additional wires or cables to operate, and is available in a piano black finish.

The AN-PR1500H home cinema rack system is available now for £599.00.
