For trains and planes this summer

Lindy Electronics has announced the launch of its active noise-cancelling headphones that the company says let the user enjoy music and movie audio without the disturbance of ambient noise, making them perfect for train and plane journeys this summer.

Adding to the headphones' travel-friendly credentials, when not in use, the headphones have a fold-away design that allows them to be easily stored in hand luggage.

The headphones use inverse phase active technology to deliver a 16dB noise reduction, claiming to minimise background disturbances. Lindy says that the 40mm driver units built into the earpads with neodymium magnets provide superior sound quality, whilst the headphones' cushioned earpads make them comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

Included with the headphones is an in-flight adapter, 1.2 metre long detachable cable and a 6.3mm audio adapter, which all fit into the carry case provided.

Requiring one AAA battery (supplied), the Lindy active noise-cancelling headphones, part no 20425, are available now from www.lindy.co.uk, priced at £29.99.
