A raft of "classic" ITV shows will be available on ITV.com following a new deal with producers. The shows, including favourites like Upstairs, Downstairs, Poirot and On the Buses can now be seen up to 30 days after they've aired on ITV3. The ITV Catch Up section can be found at http://www.itv.com/CatchUp.
ITV says the move is part of wider efforts to showcase more classic ITV content on the broadcaster’s website.
The BBC's rival iPlayer has obviously had an effect on stats too - since launch in August 2007, ITV.com combined with ITV Local has received over 69 million video views and there has been a 362% increase in usage for video across ITV’s portfolio of sites.
The programmes available to watch on Catch Up include episodes of: On the Buses, Kavanagh QC, Inspector Morse, Cadfael, Upstairs, Downstairs, Dempsey and Makepeace, Heartbeat, Robin of Sherwood, Home to Roost, Rising Damp, Taggart, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Wycliffe.
