Apple Juicz solar charger for MacBooks launches

QuickerTek has launched the "Apple Juicz" a solar charging solution for MacBook Airs, MacBooks and MacBooks Pros in the States.

Offering between 4 to 10 hours of charge for the Apple laptops, the pack comes complete with its own carry bag.

Comprising of up to three lightweight solar cells that unfold from 10.5 inches to various sizes from 30 inches to as large as 60 inches, there's also an LED charging status indicator so you always know what's going on.

The charger requires a modified MagSafe adapter - the company can either modify existing ones or offers pre-modded options.

The 55 watt solar kit - excluding special MagSafe bits - is currently offered for $1000, while the 18 watt option is $500 and the 27 watt version costs $600.
