Epson has today announced the Stylus Photo RX520, an all-in-one home photo solution for the home which offers a Transparency Unit for film scanning.

Epson has also added a colour 1.5in LCD display, the ability to directly photo printing from memory cards, 35mm negative or positive film or slides, and from Pictbridge or USB Direct Print enabled digital cameras

Epson Stylus Photo RX520 also features a 1200 x 2400 dpi scanner and integrated transparency unit for scanning from slides and film at up to 2400 dpi. Enlargements are also simple to make by using dedicated paper size buttons on the control panel that makes it possible to, for example, enlarge a 10x15cm photo up to a 13cmx18cm or even A4 size without a computer.

The Epson Stylus Photo RX520 promises borderless photos in less than a minute for £149.00. The all-in-one printer will be available later in the month.
