More official Eee peripherals incoming?

Get the set

There's no official news from Asus on these latest Eee accessories, but it seems the company is planning to push more Eee-branded stuff out the door with some new launches.

The first accessory is an Eee PC external hard drive - or Eee Drive as it's branded. With an extending USB port, it's presumably angled specifically for use with flash memory-based Eees to make up for the lack of storage.

Also making up for the diminutive device's deficiencies, the external Eee PC optical drive - or Eee Writer as Asus have dubbed it - adds disc reading and writing abilities to the little laptop.

Finally, it appears Asus has created a branded 3G data card slash USB modem called the T500. We'll bring you more if we hear of a UK launch.
