Ixos launches HDMI adapters
Tidy up untidy cables

So you've got yourself a lovely, shiny, new flat screen TV.
You mount it on your pristine white wall and then notice that it has its HDMI sockets at the side.
So you plug in your HDMI cables and then notice, as you step back to admire your new toy, that your elegant flat screen TV has a cable sticking out of the side!
Conversely some TVs have the sockets facing backwards and it can be hard to get the TV flat to the wall. Additionally, modern slimline screen mounts can take the set very close to the wall, and the cable can get in the way.
But Ixos claims it has the solution.
Its HDMI problem solvers include the right-angle HDMI cable adapters - the Ixos Studio XS218 - with IVEC signal improvement circuitry and is priced £30.00; and the Ixos First XS118, which costs £15.00
The HDMI right angle adaptors are claimed to fit snugly with the latest flat TVs.
A side facing socket can be routed backwards or downwards and a back facing one sideways or downwards, and they allow low profile mounts to close properly.
The company has also redesigned new HDMI signal boosters, which are 1080p capable.
The 218 series includes the Studio XS218 - with IVEC signal improvement circuitry and is priced £29.99.
