LG prepping Eee rival
£315 9-incher coming in October?

Reports are coming out of Germany that LG will be the latest manufacturer to jump on the Eee bandwagon with a low-cost, small form factor laptop.
The report, from German-language site Notebook Journal, states that LG is due to debut the machine, apparently named the X110, in October of this year, so perhaps an IFA launch for the device is not out of the question.
The full details on the specs are still under wraps, but it's suggested that the machine will boast a 9-inch display, the Intel Atom processor, a 120GB hard drive and 2GB of memory and the option for built-in HSDPA connectivity.
The touted pricing puts the basic model at around £315, with the HSDPA-enabled option coming in at £395. We will bring you more as we have it.
