Nokia has announced the E71 is now shipping and will be available in stores shortly. Available for pre-order at the Nokia Online Store (www.nokia.co.uk/shop) the new Eseries device is £330 including VAT, but excluding SIM card.The Nokia E71's claim to fame is that it is the world's thinnest device with a full QWERTY keyboard and gives access to the internet through Wireless LAN, 3G or HSDPA data connection of up to 3.6Mbps.
Users can switch between two customisable "Home Screen" views at the touch of a button, that Nokia says allows "easy transfer" from work life to personal life to access personal emails and entertainment options.
With full enterprise grade functionality, including a built-in encryption function for both the device memory and for the memory card, device lock and wipe to protect corporate information systems, the phone offers email and messaging on the go, supporting all leading corporate email solutions, including Microsoft Exchange, the Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email, System Seven and Visto Mobile email solutions.
The stainless steel Nokia E71 will be also be available soon on a number of network operators including Vodafone, 3 and Orange. Phones, Mobile phones, Nokia
