It looks as if the Creative Zen X-Fis with integrated Wi-Fi aren't the only new treats Creative has in store for us.

Spotted on the company's Hong Kong site is the Creative Zen Krystal, an MP3 player with a difference.

The Krystal - that appears to only be offered in 4GB capacity - is aimed at sporty types with a built-in pedometer with the ability to measure how fast you've run.

Also on the sports side of things, there's also a calorie counter and stop watch feature and the device comes bundled with a wrist strap for active use.

The player also gets motion-sensing games including "Hurdle Race", "Catch & Dodge" and "Dice Roll."

Date and time are displayed on the player's blue OLED screen and other features include an FM radio, voice recorder and 10 hours of playback from a charge.

We are waiting to hear on pricing and availability for other territories.

UPDATE: We've heard back from Creative who says this is "currently only planned to be introduced in Asia, not in Europe.” Boo.
