It had its stand raided and then shut down by police at CeBIT, but it seems Chinese company Meizu is not giving up on its iPhone clone - the M8.

According to Gizmodo US, Meizu will finally release its M8 phone in August.

Details are scant at the moment but apparently it will feature 128MB RAM, and another version with 256MB of RAM and 8GB of storage capacity will follow in October.

It should cost around 200 euros, if it makes it outside of China.
