Sanyo has launched the new CE22LD94DV-B LCD TV which has a 22-inch screen and built-in DVD player.

Aimed at the second TV market, its smaller dimensions mean it's designed for kitchens or bedrooms with the integrated DVD player offering the option of watching DVD in rooms where a traditional player may not fit.

The CE22LD94DV-B has a picture resolution of 1680 x 1050 and a brightness level of 200cdm2, response time of 5ms, contrast ratio is 1000:1 and it has a viewing angle of 170(h) and 160(v).

The DVD player supports DVD, DVD+R / RW, CD, CD-R/RW disk types and it can play both PAL and NTSC discs.

Availability and pricing to be confirmed.
