Xbox 360 owners get Netflix movies

Over 10,000 movies available to Xbox LIVE Gold members in US

Microsoft and Netflix have announced that US customers will be able to access over 10,000 movies and TV episodes.

Announced at E3, the US movie rental service has unveiled an exclusive partnership to offer consumers the ability to instantly stream movies and TV episodes from Netflix to the television via the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system as Microsoft continues its push into making the Xbox 360 an entertainment system.

The service will available to Xbox LIVE Gold members who are also Netflix subscribers and will let those users enjoy streaming movies from Netflix on Xbox LIVE at no additional cost.

The service will be available in the US on the Xbox 360 console later this year.
