Rock has launched four new models this morning, including the Xtreme 620.

This top spec version of this 15.4-inch laptop has a Core 2 Extreme T9500 Processor.

You also get the Nvidia GeForce 9800M GT DDR3 512MB graphics.

Memory wise, you can choose up to 8GB DDR2 RAM as well as up to 500GB 5400rpm or 250GB 7200RPM SATA HDD.

Additional specs worth a mention include the wireless LAN 802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth capabilities; as well as the DVD-RW, Blu-ray or Blu-ray writer.

You also get an integrated 2-megapixel webcam, and an eight cell battery (although no details on how much battery life this actually delivers).

Dimensions-wise, the Xtreme 520 is 364 x 269 x 29mm and weighs in at 2.9kg.

The new Rock notebook line will be available to pre-order from today, with shipments commencing in August.

We don't have prices as yet.
