Following the launch in Singapore, Creative has announced the Zen X-Fi and Zen X-Fi with wireless LAN in the UK.

As well as the Wi-Fi hook-up, the X-Fis promise a "breakthrough" in sound quality for MP3, WMA and unprotected iTunes music thanks to the X-Fi "Crystalizer", a Creative tech that claims to restore highs and lows lost with digital music.

The wireless LAN capability means users can stream and download music, video or photos from a PC to the player over a wireless home network.

Bundled with a set of Creative's "premium" EP-830 in-ear earphones, the Zen X-Fi with wireless LAN is available in 32GB and 16GB versions, while the ZEN X-Fi is available with 8GB of memory.

UK pricing comes in at £109.99 for the 8GB non-Wi-Fi model while the 16GB with LAN will cost £139.99 and the 32GB gets a price jump up to £199.99.
