The ISP UK Online has mooted that it will be launching a 24Mbit ADSL service in London once it has completed field trials on consumer lines.

The service which will take advantage of companyADSL2+ lines hopes to have a service up and running in October for under £30 a month.

Consumers can register their interest via www.ukonline.net

UK Online was the first ISP in the UK to offer 8Mbit ADSL connections and is now hoping to beat other ISPs also trialling the service.
