Kodak has confirmed a launch date for its Easyshare-one zoom digital camera. The Wi-Fi enabled model will be available in October in the UK. Kodak announced the camera at CES in January this year. The new model not only takes digital images but can also view up to 1500 favourite images on its 3in touchscreen display.

The camera also supports direct picture emailing and online album viewing via a wireless connection option. Aside from the picture viewing aspects the camera boasts a 3x optical zoom, 4 megapixels and movie capture and 256MB of built-in memory.

The price of the camera will be £399.99 including Wi-Fi card. Kodak orignally suggested it would sell the two seperately.
