Barring any calamity, Jonny Gladwell from Auckland New Zealand will be the very first consumer in the world to own an iPhone 3G.
Queuing outside of a Vodafone store in New Zealand right now, the time difference means that the country's 12:01am launch will see Jonny handing over his credit card at about 1pm on Thursday 10 July.
