Sharp has launched three new AQUOS LCD TVs, the 19-inch compact LC-19D1E, the 32-inch 100Hz LC-32XL8E and the 37-inch 100Hz LC-37XL8E.The Sharp AQUOS LC-19D1E, described as a "stylish and compact" unit, boasts PC and HDMI inputs, a 7500:1 contrast ratio, built in Freeview, 1366 x 768 panel resolution, and 176 degree viewing angle.
36cm tall, including the stand, with a gloss white or black finish, this is aimed to fit in smaller rooms such as kitchens, studies and bedrooms but claims to boast better specs than your average second TV.
The Sharp AQUOS XL8E series, available in 32-inch and 37-inch sizes, offers 1080p images, dynamic contrast ratios of 10,000:1, a response time of 6ms and a built-in Freeview digital tuner.
The XL8E series has a piano black lacquer finish and a "super-slim" frame, in addition there's three HDMI terminals, SRS TruSound fitted to provide crystal clear sound and green credentials via an energy saving claims.
The Sharp AQUOS LC-19D1E is available now, the LC-32XL8E and LC-37XL8E will be available from mid-July with pricing TBC. Home Cinema, Televisions, LCD televisions, Sharp
