More valve-based audio offerings

The UK launch of Fatman's Red-i, an all-in-one amp/iPod dock chassis, has been announced for September.
Based on the design of the first iTube, the Fatman iTube Red-i offers 25 watts per channel, claiming to provide rich, valve-geared sound with a "sonically matched" pair of stereo speakers.
Two pairs of line-level inputs means plenty of space to hook up your external music sources, while the built-in iPod dock gives full control of your iPod's menu via the Red-i's remote control, and there's a 3.5mm jack input too.
The Red-i also plays nice with the iPhone as it elimates TDMA noise getting an Apple "Made for iPhone" accolade to boot.
The Fatman iTube Red-i with speakers will be available in the UK from September 2008 exclusively via Henley Designs for around £399.
