Ubisoft to release games for Mac

To serve the "growing Mac gaming community"

Ubisoft has signed a deal that will bring its games to Mac users.

The deal with tech firm TransGaming will see the first batch of games going out this autumn, and will include pet simulators Catz and Dogz, and CSI: Hard Evidence.

"To expand our business position and serve the growing Mac gaming community, additional key titles will follow later this year, including several day-and-date releases this fall", said Jay Cohen from Ubisoft.

PC titles out this autumn from Ubisoft include Far Cry 2 and Tom Clancy's Hawx, while the new Prince of Persia game will be out nearer to Christmas. We'll just have to wait and see if they go Mac-ward too.
