ViewSonic unveils 26-inch VA2626WM LCD monitor

Viewsonic has launched the 26-inch VA2626WM LCD monitor.
At $500, it is claimed to deliver most of the features of a pricier model.
These include 1920 x 1200 resolution, along with a 6000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, HDMI, DVI, and VGA ports, and some 2.5 watt speakers (which are removable) .
It arrives in the US next month for $529, but there's no news on a European launch as yet.
