If you're thinking of connecting to a BT Openzone wi-fi hotspot in the next three months then you'll be pleased to know that BT have halved the price of the connection.

From the 1 September to the 30 November, users connecting to the service will be charged £5 for 250 minutes per month or £15 for 4,000 minutes. After three months prices will revert to £10 and £25 respectively.

BT is hoping the price reduction will convince users to use the wi-fi hotspots and then like them enough come November, that they will carry on paying even if the price is doubled.
