Today is Personal Firewall Day. It doesn't quite have the same emotional warmth and fuzziness as Mother's/Father's/Grandparent's/No Smoking Day to immediately name four other more exciting or worthy celebrations, and we certainly won't be sending Personal Firewall Day cards to each other, but it's actually an intelligent, multi-industry move to educate web and network users of the reasons why a firewall is necessary.
