Nokia has released a firmware update for the N810 and N800 internet tablets.

Highlights of the update, which is codenamed Diablo, include SSU (seamless software updating) enabling components of the OS to be updated without having to flash/rewrite the entire operating system.

They'll also get over-the-air (OTA) updates via Wi-Fi and WiMAX connections.

Nokia has updated the email client to Modest with several enhancements to the user interface and additional support of several mobile-friendly email features.

It's fixed "miscellaneous bugs" to OpenSSL as well as probs with the browser panning.

And Nokia has added support for AGPS in the N810 and N810WE, and updated its Wayfinder GPS application.
