Pentax confirms Optio S60 digital camera in UK

New 6 megapixel camera from Pentax

Pentax has confirmed that the Optio 60, with its 6 megapixel resolution and 3x optical zoom will be coming to the UK.

The compact camera will be aimed at the beginner with an emphasis on the Auto Select mode that will selects the most suitable shooting mode for the environment.

The camera will have six still-image shooting modes, movie shooting mode and be able to record voice memos.

The OptioS60 is powered by two AA batteries and features a 2.5in LCD monitor.

The camera will cost less than £250.
