Yet more Panasonic OLED rumours

Is a 37-inch model on the way?

24 June 2008 13:28 GMT / By Katie Scott

According to the Japanese newspaper, Sankei Shimbu, Panasonic's first foray into the OLED TV market is impending.

It reports that the OLED panels will be produced on a parallel assembly line at Panasonic's new IPS Alpha factory.

Panasonic has kept quiet on the rumours only confirming that it is working on OLED technology, and had already said it was committed to delivering medium to large panels in 2009/2010.

So could we see a 37-inch OLED on the shelves in the next couple of years?

Here's hoping.
