Jura F90 internet-connected coffee maker
But will it leave you open to cyber attacks

For $2000, you can get a Jura F90 coffee maker that can be connected to the internet for remote control of the settings.
But a security expert has warned the tech chaps over at Engadget that people who want to use an internet connected gadget like this should be a little careful.
BDO risk advisory services manager Craig Wright warned that users can be unwittingly leaving their PCs vulnerable to outside attack.
Wright claims that the Jura F90 internet-connected coffee maker had several significant security holes, including a buffer overflow in its internet connection software.
This means an attacker could potentially take control of the PC connected to the coffee maker.
OK so the potential risk is low but you wouldn't be happy if you woke up to find some hacker had changed your slim latte with soya milk to a chocolate dusted frappuccino.
