2Gb and 4Gb iPod Shuffle details leaked

iPod shuffle to get bigger memory capacity.

21 August 2005 15:53 GMT / By Stuart Miles

Rumours of a 2Gb and 4Gb iPod shuffle gained strength over the weekend when a shopping comparison website posted listings for both products on its website.

The site, Shopping.com, unfortunately doesn't list a price or release date for the two products but the posting suggests that the new expanded capacity players are on the way.

The news only fuels rumours that Apple is planning to release further iPod models at next months Apple Expo in Paris now that Flash Memory has become cheaper.

Apple is expected to announce a range of new products at the expo next month including the final update of the G4 PowerBook range before the move to Intel based chips next year.

Stay tuned for an official announcement from the company.

We will keep you posted.
