OK so it seems a bit odd to want kisses from a robot, but nevertheless Sega is predicting massive sales of its latest robot, and its first "humanoid hottie".

E.M.A., which stands for Eternal, Maiden, Actualization, is a 38cm robot, who uses sensors to detect people’s faces and then plants a little kiss on their cheek.

She also sings, dances and hands out business cards, and she doesn’t nag or drag you round the shops on the day of the "big match".

Sega says she is built for young men in their 20s, and will arrive on shelves in Japan in September for $175.

And the robot maker is predicting 10,000 sales within a year.
