Sky HD sees price reduction

Get the new box for £150

19 June 2008 14:38 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Sky has announced changes to its HD offering with Sky+ HD the new name for its current HD box.

From 1 July, both new and existing customers upgrading to Sky+ HD will be able to purchase the HD box for £150, when taken with a £10 per month subscription to the HD Mix, which compares to the previous price of £249.

The HD subscription will now be branded as the "Sky HD Mix" to differentiate between the Sky+ box and the Sky+ HD box.

The cost of a Sky+ box will also be £150, although this could be further reduced to £75 if a customer takes Sky Broadband and Sky Talk or Sky Multiroom.
