Nintendo sets price and date for GameBoy Micro

Mini console, but not a mini price

Nintendo has confirmed that the GameBoy Micro will be launched in Japan on the 13 Sept, the US on the 19 Sept and Europe on the 5 November.

The console - which is the smallest version of the hardware yet measuring 4in wide and 2in long. It will play all standard Game Boy Advance cartridges.

It will come with three removable faceplates that can be used to personalize the device and protect its screen. The player itself will be available in silver, blue, pink and green.

The GameBoy Micro, to be priced at $109 in Japan and $99.99 in the United States and £69 in the UK.
