Sony's World View mobile camera phone competition attracted a whopping 70,000 entries last year, and so, following on from this success, the company has decided to do it again.

The online competition is now in its third year and lets snappers share their camera phone photography with a global audience.

For 2008, the company has launched a new website where you can upload their images, expand your online social network, share images with people around the world, and pick up hints and tips from top photography professionals.

Categories include the People’s Choice prize, which is awarded to the person who receives the most votes from the public around the world.

The winner will get a trip of a lifetime worth £5000.

The Experts’ Choice winner, chosen by Sony Ericsson’s panel of elite photography judges, will receive a once-in-a-lifetime trip worth £10,000.

Judges include Sony Ericsson Senior Designer from the Creative Design Centre, Martin Wezowski; Reuters UK & Ireland Chief of Photography, David Viggers; and leading global photographer Tony Briggs.
