i-Knock instant messenger gadget to launch

Hammer wielding gadget hits itself on head for MSN alerts

Similar to the i-Buddy that we've seen before, Stysen's i-Knock is a "personal instant messaging notifier" USB gadget that hooks up to your PC and alerts you to goings-on with instant messenging and the like.

When you receive a message, email or when a person logs on, the i-Knock goes to work with aural and visual alerts thanks to its built-in speaker and LED light.

The i-Knock can react differently to over 20 emoticons you get sent, or you can just set it to bash itself on the head when a message comes in.

Compatible with Skype, MSN, Yahoo and other instant messenger apps, the bonkers little device is also customisable with MP3 sound alerts and said to be easy to use. No word on a UK launch.
