Microsoft's Surface touch operated "coffee table" computer will make its debut in the entertainment world at Harrah's casino in Las Vegas.Following the deal announced with AT&T retail stores in the States, the Microsoft Surface machines will be installed at iBar ultra-lounge located at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.
The Surface offers a 30-inch, 360 degree touch display that individuals or multiple people can interact with digital content by using touch, gestures or objects from the real world.
Harrah's has also created a suite of "hip" new applications specifically for the venue including High Roller bowling, Dissed multiplayer pickup pinball, and a Last Call musical memory game.
In addition, there's food and drink ordering with a a mixologist feature that lets users order their own signature cocktails for themselves or to send to that "special someone" across the room.
And flirting gets a tech twist too with the option to "chat" between Surface tables and "strategically placed" video cameras at each Surface allow guests to take and send photos across the lounge. Hardware, Desktop PCs, Microsoft, Microsoft Surface
