HP forgets PCs for brief moment, launches calculator

High powered tech

HP might have launched a cutting edge "invite only" gaming PC or a laptop that’s thinner that the MacBook Air, but that hasn’t stopped them thinking about those who don’t want to have a state of the art computer.

Snuck in amongst the plethora of releases at its connecting world event in Berlin is the launch of a new calculator.

Yep you read that right. The HP Quick Calc will come in a range of lurid colours – green, bronze, pink and silver, weigh 46grams and feature a LCD so you can show the kids around you the story of how the women became 8008LESS (55378008).

It gets more exciting, the Quick Calc event has a metal back presumably so you can stick it to your fridge so you can work how much to charge your kids for breakfast.

No word on price though.

We will keep you posted.
