Guten Tag from Berlin where HP is about to announce a host of new products at what is now an annual gathering of journos, bloggers and HP experts.

Watch out for the coverage from tomorrow (10 June) but in the meantime, HP has let Pocket-lint get its mitts on an early preview model of the iPAQ 914.

Due for release on 30 June, this is a 3G smartphone - yes another one!

HP claims it offers advanced mobile email, phone and built-in GPS navigation (for which the default app is Google Maps).

Connection wise, you can pick from tri-band UMTS/ high speed HSDPA at 7.2Mbps and quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The phone runs Microsoft Windows 6.1 and comes with a 3-megapixel camera and camcorder, and the editing tools courtesy of HP Photosmart Mobile - the same as the 614c release earlier in the year.

We haven't got an official price as yet but it's on Amazon for £379.99.
