HTC delays launch of Touch Diamond
Smartphone to lose valuable 3G iPhone lead time

Those hoping to get their hands HTC's swanky new Touch Diamond Windows Mobile smartphone will have to wait a little longer than retailers have been promising.
Devicewire is running the following message on the their site: "Due to circumstances beyond our control the estimated delivery date for the HTC Touch Diamond of the 9th June will not be met".
"Please rest assured that HTC have provided us with a new worse case scenario delivery date of 23rd June. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused."
Sources suggest that HTC is holding a shipment due to a ROM update that needed to be applied late in the process of distribution.
Such a delay could be costly for HTC - this could mean that the phone just hits the shops before the rumoured first week of July launch of the rival 3G iPhone in the UK.
