V-Beat Air Guitar launches
No strings attached

If you can't get enough of fake guitar playing then Firebox has got covered away from the console with the launch of the V-Beat Air Guitar.
Following on from the similar Air Drum device, the gee-tar version lets any wannabe megastar rock out like a pro with its two-piece motion-sensitive "guitar".
The idea is to hold the headstock section in one hand and move it closer or further away from the body to change pitch whilst your other hand strums over motion sensors.
The built-in speaker blasts out your tuneage in three playing modes: Freestyle (play what you want), Easy Go (play along to pre-programmed rhythms) and Pop Academy (a step by step tutor mode).
You can also switch between single notes, chords and powerchords, and select various guitar sounds. Available now, it's £25.
