From 1 June Vodafone UK's Mobile Broadband USB modems will be reduced from £99 to £49 on its 30-day contract price plans.

The company says the move is part its commitment to making mobile broadband more accessible for consumers.

This follows the three new pricing tiers introduced in April which currently stand at:

- Mobile Broadband 3GB, £15 a month, on 12/18/24 month contracts

- Mobile Broadband 30 Day 3GB, £20 a month, on a 30 day contract

- Mobile Broadband 5GB, £25 a month, on 12/18/24 month contracts

3 reduced the price of its Pay As You Go USB dongles in April to £49.99 - a saving of £50 on the original price point - or down from £69.99 the last time they cut the prices.
