Samsung has announced a new phone called the Soulb, a candy-bar version it says of the Samsung Soul.

The new HSDPA phone, which will offer a 3 megapixel camera and 1GB of internal memory, won’t however feature the touch screen LCD found on the Soul launched at Mobile World Congress in February.

“Continuing the legacy of Soul, Soulb captures the eyes of the viewer at once with its astonishing state-of-the-art design.” Says Samsung in a statement.

Soulb will measure 9.9mm thick and be encased in metal. It will be available in five colours: Soul Grey, Platinum Silver, Metallic Black, Soul Pink and Amethyst Violet.

Other specs include a music player, video player, video editor, and Bluetooth 2.0.

The phone is expected in the UK this summer.
