From Mathmos, the makers of the iconic lava lamps, comes the Pop Light.
Crafted in mouth-blown glass enclosing a chrome metal "bulb" which, thanks to internal LEDs, comes to life when you switch it on.
The 16cm high Pop Light is operated by pushing down its "shade" which starts the light show, cycling through a kaleidoscope of colours.
Available now from Firebox, the Pop Lights will cost ya £27.95 each - but could be a future design classic...
