Hanging alarm clock launches

Winds closer to the ceiling every time you press snooze

28 May 2008 14:33 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

You have to attach this cunning clock to your ceiling by the supplied cable, set the alarm and then fall fast asleep.

When the alarm goes off (to the sound of the Close Encounters of the Third Kind music no less), you reach up to hit the snooze button, and the clock will reel up the 30cm cable in 1 minute.

Each time you snooze it, the hanging alarm clock will wind up another 30cm.

The idea is that eventually you will have to drag yourself out of bed to actually reach the alarm and switch it off.

Either that or pull the cord out of the ceiling in a rage and throw the entire contraption straight out of the window in blind rage. £20, available now.
