Dualit, the company more famous for its toasters than DAB radios, has announced a new addition to its DAB radio range in the UK.

Called the DAB Lite radio, the small digital radio will cost £85, however not come with an option to make you toast. Instead listeners will be able to get it in three different colours: chrome, back and cream.

On the technical side, the radio will sport a 6 watt speaker, 10 DAB digital and 10 FM pre-sets with RDS and a 16 x 2 character white-on-blue LCD display.

The radio also features a kitchen timer as well as having an alarm clock and snooze button. It can be either mains powered or battery operated with a built-in charger for AA rechargeable batteries with the promise of 9hrs from a single charge.
